Volleyball Drops Regular Season Finale at New Hampshire

DURHAM, NH—The  UMBC Volleyball team dropped the final game of the regular season in three sets at New Hampshre (25-16, 25-22, 26-24) on Sunday afternoon.

UMBC finishes its season 6-4 in the conference and will be the No.3 seed in the America East Tournament. The Retrievers will have a rematch with UNH in the semifinals to begin the tournament this Friday at Binghamton.


Freshman Hannah Dobbs had a game-high 15 kills, eight digs, one block, and one assist.

Senior Mia Bilusic finished with 10 kills, 10 digs, and one block.

Junior Serin Maden recorded a game-high 25 assists, five digs, and one block.

Graduate student Aysia Miller had a team-high 14 digs and three assists.

Izzy Ostvig notched 10 assists, two kills, and one dig, alongside freshman Claudia Llamas who had nine kills and one block.

Sophomore Hannah Howard had nine digs, a game-high two aces, and one assist.
