BALTIMORE – The UMBC baseball team dropped a 17-4 decision in seven innings against the Towson Tigers on Tuesday evening at Alumni Field.
Freshman catcher
Derek Paris hit a solo homer and junior shortstop
Dawson Baracani added an RBI single for the Retrievers, who fell to 24-22 on the season.
Towson (16-34) first baseman Reyce Curnane hit a pair of two-run homers and catcher John Cristino drove in five runs.
Freshman right-hander
Joshua Rivera fell to 1-3 after allowing seven hits and six runs (two earned) over 2.0 innings.
UMBC will host Delaware State on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
