The UMBC Softball team will close the regular season by hosting UMass Lowell for Senior Weekend. The teams will play a 4 p.m. doubleheader on Friday, followed by a single game at noon on Saturday. There will be a pregame ceremony on Saturday to honor the senior class.

Last Time Out:

• Thee offense exploded for six homers as the UMBC Softball team (21-14, 13-3 AE) split a doubleheader on Saturday at Bryant.
• Courtney Coppersmith (York, Pa.) earned her second-straight America East Pitcher of the Week award, the Conference announced on Tuesday morning.
• Coppersmith tossed an 11-strikeout perfect game on Saturday in a 9-0, six inning win, at Bryant. It was the third perfect game, and tenth no-hitter, of her career.
• She got offensive support on homers from Macy Granzow (Glenn Dale, Md.), Lyndsey Evix (Cumberland, Md.), Ashley Della Guardia (Phoenixville, Pa.) and Madison Wilson (Abingdon, Md.) en route to a 9-0 win in six innings in game one.
• Emily Riggs (Lancaster, Pa.) and Karly Keating (Orlando, Fla.) homered in game two, but a late rally came up short in a 6-5 loss.

• The River Hawks improved to 19-25-1 overall after a pair of  wins over UAlbany last weekend
• They record are 7-10 in America East play with wins over UAlbany, Bryant, UMBC and
  Maine
• Junior Infielder Morgan Fisher is currently recording an impressive .328 batting average.
• Ryley White leads the pitching staff with a 2.13 ERA
