Track Performances Highlights Retrievers' Efforts at Brant Tolsma Invitational

Miller, Dregley and 4 x 400 Relay Squad Excel at Liberty meet

Lynchburg, Va.  – Sophomore Marquis Miller and seniors Tyler Dregley and Zachary Taylor highlighted UMBC track and field's efforts at the Brant Tolsma Invitational, held at Liberty University's Indoor Track & Field Complex.

In addition, the Retrievers' 4 x 400 meter relay teams took the top two spots in the race. The quartet of Jaeden Burke, Taheer Pierce, Shamar Barnes, Seun Olajide were the victors, finishing with a mark of 3:24.82.

Miller placed sixth in the 400 meters and shaved .10 seconds off his time of a week ago, upgrading his mark of the seventh-best time in school history. He also placed sixth in the 200 meters (22.10).

Dregley (1:53.68) and Taylor (1:53.87) placed third and fourth in the 800 meters, registering the seventh and eighth-fastest times in UMBC indoor track history.
Other Top Performances: UMBC returns to Penn State on Jan. 27-28 for the Penn State National meet.
