BALTIMORE– UMBC men's basketball returns home to continue their tough stretch of games against Stony Brook on Wednesday night. The Retrievers will be playing their third game in five days against the Seawolves on 90s night.

Scouting the Retrievers:
- UMBC will conclude their three games in five day stretch against the Seawolves on Wednesday night, having dropped their last two games including a 68-62 loss at New Hampshire on Monday. UMBC led at halftime and had the deficit to just five late, but could not complete the comeback.
- Darnell Rogers (Baltimore, Md./Indian Land (SC)/New Mexico JC) led the Retrievers with 19 points. He is averaging 10.9 ppg this season and is dishing out a team-best 3.6 apg.
- Keondre Kennedy (Atlanta, Ga.) leads the team at 14.5 ppg with L.J. Owens (Annapolis, Md./Severn School/William & Mary) also in double figures at 10.8 ppg. Owens is just 44 points away from hitting 1,000 points in his career.
- Yaw Obeng-Mensah (Toronto, Ontario) leads the team on the boards grabbing 5.6 per game.
Scouting the Seawolves:
- Stony Brook comes into the contest at 15-10, 7-5 AE on the year, having won their last two games against UMass Lowell and most recently Maine on Saturday, 85-74. The Seawolves are 10-4 at home compared to just 5-6 on the road.
- Reigning America East Player of the Week Anthony Roberts leads the Seawolves at 15.9 ppg and is coming off a 40 point performance against Maine. He is shooting 41.8 percent from the floor and is averaging 4.2 rpg.
- Jahlil Jenkins and Tykei Greene are also in double figures at 13.4 ppg and 12.0 ppg respectively. Green leads the team on the glass, averaging 7.6 rpg.
All-Time Series:
- This will be the 41st meeting all-time between the two and second matchup this season. Stony Brook won the first meeting on Long Island and leads the series, 26-14.
- UMBC had won the last three matchups prior to the game in January, and has won the last three games played in Baltimore.

- UMBC sits 15th nationally in team free throw percentage at 77.7 going 310-399 from the charity stripe this season.
