Biography

2021-22: Played in 30 of the 32 games during the 2021-22 season making 27 starts… Averaged 11.7 points per game and dished out 3.6 assists per game, shooting  37 percent from the floor and 91 percent from the foul line… Had a stretch of five straight double digit scoring games to end the season… Had three 20-point games, including a career-high 26 points in a win against Hartford on February 23… Dished out a career-best 13 assists against Stony Brook in early February… Named to the America East All-Conference Third Team and All-Tournament Team.

2020-21:
Had a strong 2020-21 season after coming back from a season ending injury in 2019-20… Played and started in all 20 games averaging 28.2 mpg with 9.8 ppg and 1.8 apg… Shot 38.4 percent from the floor and 40 percent from three… Scored in double figures in five of the last six games including a season-high 17 points in a 75-71 win at NJIT… Dished out five assists against George Washington and followed that up with eight rebounds against Delaware the next night… Named to the America East All-Defensive Team.

2019-20: Played in just seven games with six starts before a season-ending injury in late November… Averaged 14.0 ppg, shooting 44.6 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from three in seven games… Dished out 30 assists and grabbed 3.4 rpg… Scored 23 points twice against Nicholls State (11/24) and Georgian Court (11/6) and had a 21 point performance against FGCU… Recorded a double-double against Valley Forge with 14 points and 10 assists… Named to Jersey Mike’s Jamaica Classic All-Tournament Team.

Background: Transfer from New Mexico Junior College where he averaged 14.0 ppg, 2.5 rpg and 3.7 apg in one season with the Thunderbirds… Prior to NMJC, he played one year at Florida Gulf Coast where he played in 20 games scoring a season-high 11 points against Weber International… Was the leading scorer at Indian Land High School despite not playing his senior season… Scored 41 points in back-to-back games in high school… All-County Lancaster Player of the Year in 2013-14 and two-time Region 4-2AA Player of the Year ... started at point guard on the varsity level since 7th grade and helped Indian Land go 86-23, leading the school – as a team captain – to the Upper State Final Four twice ... in 2013-14, Indian Land won its first Region 4-2AA Championship in 30 years and won it again in 2014-15… Lists favorite pro team as the Los Angeles Lakers and favorite musical artists as Meek Mill and Shy Glizzy… Has one sibling, Terrell… Son of Sherrell and Shawnta Rogers… Father Shawnta played at George Washington University, who was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Year in 1999.
