Volleyball Moves to 3-0 in Conference with Road Sweep of Hartford

West Hartford, Conn -- Setter Andjelija Draskovic (Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia) had 35 assists and 12 digs for her fourth-consecutive consecutive double-double as the UMBC Volleyball team moved to 3-0 in America East play with a sweep of host Hartford (25-16, 25-22, 25-17) on Sunday afternoon. 

UMBC (8-10, 3-0 AE) hit .276 for the match as Mia Bilusic (Zagreb, Croatia) was the only player in the match with double-digit kills, finishing with 15 kills and 10 digs. Loren Teter (Redondo Beach, Calif.) finished with 17 digs, while Grace Rigsbee added seven kills, six digs and six blocks. 

Aysia Miller (Mililani, Hawaii) finished with eight kills and five digs, while Mila Ilieva (Vidin, Bulgaria) and Beste Ayhan (Istanbul, Turkey) had six kills each, with Ayhan adding seven blocks for the second-straight match. 

The Retrievers close-out their three-match road trip at NJIT on Friday night before hosting New Hampshire on Sunday afternoon.
