Albany, N.Y. -- The UMBC Softball team battled for 11 innings, but ultimately fell to two-time defending conference champion UAlbany, 1-0, on Sunday.

UAlbany (25-13, 12-2 AE) would then wain the game in the bottom of the 11th after a walk and a pair of singles.
