19th Ranked Virginia Tech Defeats UMBC Men's Tennis

Blacksburg, Va. – The 19th-ranked Virginia Tech Hokies defeated UMBC, 7-0, at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.

 

Seniors Justin Carter (Randallstown, Md.) and Alex Drean (Bayonne, France) were highly competitive versus the No. 11 doubles duo in the nation, falling to Andreas Bjerrehus/Joao Monteiro, 6-4.

 

UMBC travels to Connecticut to take on Hartford and Fairfield next weekend.
