Moon Township, PA-Senior guard Shalayna Johnson tied a school record with 36 points,  but the UMBC women's basketball team lost a heartbreaking, 85-82 decision in triple overtime to Robert Morris. UMBC fell to 3-9, 0-3 NEC, while the Colonials won for the first time this season in twelve decisions.

UMBC jumped out to a 67-62 edge in the first overtime, but RMU sent it to a second overtime with a field goal with 12 seconds to play. The Colonials scored the first eight points of the third OT, but UMBC rallied and Johnson's attempt to send the game to a fourth extra frame was just off the mark.
