Accomplished the feat again on Nov. 1 and Nov. 3 as UMBC knocked off Binghamton (57) and then Albany (58) on Senior Day… Sent out 56 assists in the conference title match in which UMBC fell in five sets at New Hampshire… Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2012: Named the America East Co-Setter of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Conference First Team in her first season as the Retrievers’ primary setter… Selected as the conference Setter of the Week twice (Sept. 17 and Nov. 5)… Averaged 9.78 assists per set, the highest average in the conference and the ninth-best in UMBC program history… Set career-highs in kills (20), assists (724), digs (138) and blocks (40) during her junior year… Topped the 50-assist mark four times during the year, setting her career-high (59) as the Retrievers downed Albany on Nov. 2 for the first time since 2007… Registered five double-doubles during the campaign… Set a career-best with 15 digs against Providence and then equaled it during the win over Albany… Notched six block assists as the Retrievers defeated East Carolina in four sets on opening night of ECU’s Pirate Invitational… Recorded a total of 40.0 blocks for a 0.54 blocks per set average… Recognized on the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2011: Played in 17 matches, making one start as a sophomore... Set a season-high with 15 assists and six digs at America East rival New Hampshire... Helped the Retrievers sweep Norfolk State during the Maddie Bingaman Tournament with a six assist effort... Named to the America East Honor Roll.
2010: Played in 25 matches with two starts… Finished the season third on the squad with 168 assists and 21 service aces… Served a season-high five aces in her first match of her career against Coppin State on Sept. 3… Also served four aces against Hartford on Nov. 5… Passed a season-high 29 assists against Western Michigan on Sept. 18 and recorded a season-high eight digs at Seton Hall on Sept. 17… Named to the America East Honor Roll.
Background: Named one of Manitoba’s Top 10 volleyball players of 2010 by the Winnipeg Sun… Led her club team to a Canadian National Championship in 2007 and three Manitoba Provincial Championships in 2007, 2008 and 2010… Was the starting setter on the Manitoba Provincial Volleyball Team that won gold at the Western Canadian Elite Championships in 2008… Named the Manitoba High School Athletic Association Graduating All-Star in 2010… Led St. Mary’s Academy to the Manitoba Final Four in 2010… Also played ice hockey and was the goalie on four consecutive Winnipeg Minor Hockey Association Female Ice Hockey Championships from 2003-06… Named on St. Mary’s Honor Roll her junior and senior years.
