• The first baseman Appeared in 54 games and made 46 starts.
• Hit .290 and his 51 hits were the fifth-most on the squad. Was also fifth in RBI’s (27) and total bases (69).
• Led the Retrievers in doubles (12) and sacrifice flies (6).
• Recorded 12 multiple-hit games.
• Went a season-best 4-for-4 and smacked a pair of doubles against Binghamton (5/1).
• Enjoyed three-hit performances against Saint Joseph’s (2/27), UAlbany (3/18), NJIT (4/17), Towson (4/27) and UMass-Lowell (5/25).
• Homered against Stony Brook (5/6) and UMass-Lowell (5/25).
• Also ripped two doubles against Saint Joseph’s (2/27) and NJIT (4/17).
• Scored a season-high three runs against Towson (4/27).

2021: Appeared in 25 games for the Retrievers during his first season at first base… Had nine hits in 40 at-bats with four runs scored… He had three doubles and three RBI for a .225 average, slugging .300… Made his first appearance against Delaware State on March 7 collecting a hit and RBI.

Background: Played high school ball at Poolesville High School… Was named team MVP in 2019… Also earned Washington Post All-Met Honorable Mention honors, All-Division 3A/2A First Team honors and PBR All-State Second Team honors in 2019… Was named Maryland State Association of Baseball Coaches Preseason All-State in 2020… Had a .521 batting average with 25 hits and 34 RBI in 2019… Helped Poolesville win the 2017 Maryland State Championship… Son of Karla and Jim Trythall… Has two siblings, Michael and Emily… Lists favorite pro team as the Baltimore Orioles and favorite musical artist as Alan Jackson.
