2014: Played in 21 of 25 matches this year, making 19 starts... Led the team with 234 kills this year, including a season and career high 31 winners against Albany on October 17... The junior also hit 14 service aces, while adding 38 digs and 38 blocks... Krystal had eight double digit kill performances.
2013: Surpassed her form from her breakout freshman campaign while playing in 30 matches for a total of 116 sets as a sophomore… Led the team and set new career-highs in block assists (95) and total blocks (106)… Also set a new career-best with 277 kills, the third-most for the Retrievers in 2013… Her 95 block assists rank as the fourth-highest single season mark in school history and puts her on the list twice (83 in 2012 – 6th)… Ranks tied for seventh in the school record book with 106 total blocks in a season… Currently sits ninth in program history with 184 career block assists… Opened the season with ten kills and two blocks in the Retrievers’ four-set loss to SEC foe Ole Miss… Posted 11 kills in UMBC’s sweep of Maryland, the Retrievers’ first-ever win over the Terps… Recorded 14 kills and five block assists as UMBC outlasted Georgetown in five sets on Sept. 21 at the Gold and Blue Players Challenge at West Virginia… Propelled UMBC to its first-ever win at Albany on Oct. 11 with a career-high 19 kills against the Great Danes… Also stuffed four total blocks in the win at University Gymnasium… Sent down 15 winners in back-to-back matched against Binghamton and Albany on Nov. 1 and Nov. 3, both wins at home for the Retrievers.
2012: Named to the America East All-Conference Second Team while also earning a spot on the conference All-Rookie squad… Played in 29 of the Retrievers’ 30 matches, making 27 starts as a redshirt freshman… Finished third on the team with 212 kills… Posted a .245 hitting percentage, the second-highest on the team behind only Sherelle Walker, and the fourth-best in the league… Recorded a total of 94 blocks for a 0.85 blocks per set average, the fifth-highest average in the America East… Her 89 block assists rank as the fifth-most in a single season in Retriever program history.
2011: Redshirt season
Background: Led Western Tech to a No. 2 seed in the region, its highest seed ever… Also lettered in track and field and basketball… Finished seventh in the long jump at the Maryland 1A State Championships… A member of the honor roll her last three years in high school.
