2011: Played in 21 matches, making 18 starts for UMBC... Saw action in a total of 61 sets, recording 76 kills and 10 serves aces... Set the team season-high with three 9 total block matches against UC Riverside, Binghamton and Rhode Island... Also notched nine kills in the Retrievers' 3-1 win at UC Riverside on Aug. 29... Recognized on the America East Honor Roll.

 

2010: Played in nine matches, including three starts at middle blocker… Earned nine kills and eight blocks on the season… Registered two kills against both Northeastern and American and recorded a season-high three blocks against George Washington.

2009: Did not compete due to injury.

Background: Played for the Brahmas of Diamond Bar High School in Diamond Bar, Calif…. Named to the All-Sierra League First Team and All-Inland Valley First Team in 2008… Earned Most Valuable Player honors at the Gabrelino Tournament… Named Most Versatile Player for the Brahmas in 2007… Named to the Academic All-Sierra League in 2008 and Scholar-Athlete in 2007 and 2008… Member of the Principal’s Honor Roll from 2005-2009.

Personal: Daughter of Norman and Shannon Kelly… Father, Norman, played basketball at USC and St. Mary’s (CA) before playing professionally in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA)… Has two siblings, Erin and Robby… Majoring in Spanish and modern languages and linguistics with a minor in education… Born Dec. 21, 1990.
