Biography

2014: Made an appearance in seven matches in 2014... She registered three kills on the year, with two of them coming in the match against #10 BYU on September 6... She added one block in the match against the Cougars. 

2013: Saw action in four matches during her freshman season for the Retrievers… Played in her first collegiate match vs. SEC opponent Ole Miss in UMBC’s season-opener at the GW/Nike Invitational… Recorded her first career kill on Sept. 13 as UMBC swept St. Francis (Pa.) at the Maddie Bingaman Memorial Tournament… Also notched a kill in the Retrievers’ five-set victory over Georgetown at the Gold and Blue Players Challenge at West Virginia… Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Background: Named a Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) “B” Conference All-Star while competing for John Carroll… Member of the National Honor Society… Earned the AP Scholar Award.

Personal: Daughter of Vernon and Phyllis Adamson… Has one older sister, Ariel… Plans to major in chemical engineering… Born May 10, 1995.
