Eastman joined the UMBC staff in July 2022. He has been the head coach of the UMBC Men’s Club Volleyball team since August of 2021. Eastman led the Men’s team to the finals of the bronze bracket at the NCVF nationals in April of 2022 and continues to oversee the team this season. He played for the club team as a middle blocker his senior year but his season was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic. Eastman studied Information Systems at UMBC and graduated in May of 2020. During his time at UMBC, Eastman was a student section leader at the Men’s Basketball games. He does software engineering part-time alongside coaching for the volleyball team.
