Biography

AS A FRESHMAN (2020-21):

  • 2020-21 season was cut short due to COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Played in all eight games of the year, starting in three.

  • Averaged 4.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists on the season.

  • Shot 32.6 percent (14-43) from the field and  61.5 percent (8-13) from the free-throw line.

  • Notched a career-high eight points twice: Morgan State (2-6 FG, 4-5 FT) and UAlbany (3-5 FG, 2-2 FT).

  • Brought down a career-best four rebounds in two games (Mount St. Mary’s and Vermont).

  • Also had four assists and three steals against Mount St. Mary’s.

BACKGROUND:

  • Named the 4A Montgomery County Public School (MCPS) Division Player of the Year in 2018-19 while at Paint Branch High School.
  • Was also the 4A MCPS Rookie of the Year in 2016-17.
  • Earned First Team All-State honors from the Maryland Basketball Coaches Association.
  • Also named a Division First Team 4A MCPS selection and an All-Met Honorable Mention in 2018-19.
  • Member of the Student-Athlete Leadership Council.
  • Also lettered in soccer, softball, and track.
  • Played club basketball for Maryland Last Terps, OSA Sharpshooter, and Germantown Lady Panthers.
  • Member of the National Honors Society.
  • Three-time Minds in Motion Scholar-Athlete.
  • A two-time recipient of the W.E.B. Dubois Achievement Award of Excellence.
  • Three-time recipient of the Versatility Achievement Award of Excellence.
  • Earned Honor Roll every quarter of high school.

 

PERSONAL:

  • Daughter of Olga Dou Dou.
  • Has three siblings, Earvin, Adelaide, and Dhedhus.
  • Would like to be a psychologist to make a difference and use her gifts to the full potential.
