AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2016-17): Played in nine games after coming back from injury earlier in the year… Scored her first point as a Retriever against Binghamton (Jan. 4)... Had three points with her first three pointer of the season along with her first field goal of the season against Vermont (Jan. 14).
AS A JUNIOR (2015-16): Sat out the 2015-16 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
PRIOR TO UMBC: Competed in 35 games over two seasons at VCU… A part of the Rams' 2013-14 team that made a trip to the WNIT… Made 25 appearances during the 2014-15 campaign… An All-Conference player in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference during her high school tenure at St. Mary’s Ryken... Earned WCA All-Defensive Team honors in 2012-13.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Brian Burgess and Adrienne Young Burgess... Has three siblings, Brandy Young, Samiyah Burgess and Kirby Grant… Majoring in media and communication studies.
