• Scored six points, grabbed four boards and came up with two steals in 25 minutes off the bench in his Retriever debut at Louisville (11/6). Also led UMBC with five fouls drawn.
• Hit all four of his field goal attempts and scored a season high 9 points against Sacred Heart (11/17/23). Also drew a team season best nine fouls.
• Made his first start as a Retriever against Loyola Maryland (11/19/23). Scored 6 points and grabbed 4 boards in 20 minutes.
• Recorded a team and season-high seven boards at William & Mary (11/25/23).
• Scored 13 points, his UMBC-high, and grabbed 7 boards at Hampton (11/27/23)
• Produced 8 points and 4 boards off the bench versus American.

• Short was named to the 2022-23 All-California Collegiate Athletic Association Second Team after averaging 15.3 points and 5.2 rebounds during his sophomore year at Stanislaus State. 
• He led the Warriors in scoring and shot 46.8 percent overall from the floor.
• Short also recorded 31 steals while shooting 76.3 percent from the charity stripe...
• Played for current UMBC Assistant Coach Brian Baudinet at the Canterbury School in New Milford Connecticut prior to enrolling at Stanislaus State.
