Biography

2018: Scored a goal on August 31st against Col. of Charleston. 

2017: Appeared in every game for the Retrievers, making five starts during his junior season… Scored his first two collegiate goals with two assists for six points… Scored a goal against West Virginia with his goal against Albany on October 14 coming as a game winner… Had assists against Navy and Delaware.

2016: Played in all 16 games and started in three of them… Has one point in his sophomore season where he provided an assist in the match against Monmouth that resulted in the 3-2 win for the Retrievers.

2015: Appeared in every match for the Retrievers, making five starts... Recorded 16 shots, five of which were on goal during 2015... Recorded his first collegiate point with an assist in a 5-0 win against Central Arkansas in early September... Had a season high three shots in the season opener against Fairfield. 

Background: Captained DeMatha's 2014 WCAC championship team… Scored 13 goals and added seven assists during his senior campaign, including the game-tying goal in the conference title game… The honor roll student earned First Team All-Metro honors from The Washington Post and was also selected to the All-State, All-Conference and All-County squads… A teammate of classmate Riley Collins with Baltimore Celtic SC… Lists favorite pro side as Real Madrid… Son of Karin and Michael Gielen.
