2017: Played in three games during his first season as a Retriever.

Background: Earned All-MIAA honors in 2016 while at Archbishop Curley High School… Helped his team reach the MIAA ‘A’ Finals as a junior and senior… Played club ball for Fewster F.C. and Baltimore Celtic. 

Personal: Son of Greg Poetzel… Has two siblings, Kristen and Jake… Currently undecided on a major… Chose UMBC over William & Mary and Binghamton… Favorite pro side is Tottenham and favorite musical artist is Luke Bryan.
