Biography

Accolades:  (2018) Named to the America East Winter-Spring Honor Roll. (2017) Earned America East Winter/Spring Honor Roll recognition (2016) Named to America East Conference Winter-Spring Honor Roll. 

 

2018:  Competed in eight games and saw increased playing time as the season progressed… Started on first midfield in the final four games of the season as the Retrievers won three of four April contests… Scored goals in the final two games of the season versus Hartford and Vermont… Also hit the nets earlier versus Johns Hopkins.

 

2017: Saw action in the first five games of the season and in six overall… Attempted four shots in the Feb. 11 contest at Hopkins… Scored a goal versus Mercer on Feb. 25… Recorded a ground ball a week later versus Towson. 

 

2016: Competed in 10 of 14 games in his freshman campaign… Earned a pair of starting assignments versus Towson and Vermont… Scored his first collegiate goal in the game in Burlington.

 

Background: Recorded 22 goals and 20 assists his senior year at Spalding High School… A Bilderback All-Star… Captain of the lacrosse team his senior year… Selected as a Freestate Top 44 his sophomore season… Varsity starter since his sophomore year… Also lettered in basketball and football… An Honor Roll student every year of High School… Lists favorite Movie as Lone Survivor… Has two older brothers, Bob, Jr. and Nick… Son of Bob and Glynis Kalas.
