Accolades:

  • Named to 2022 America East Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll
  • Selected as the team’s Most Improved Player
2023:
  • Played in all 13 games for the Retrievers as a faceoff specialist
  • Moved into sixth place on UMBC’s all-time list with 256 career face-offs won 
  • Recorded two goals and added one assist while winning nearly 46 percent of his draws taken 
  • Picked up a season high nine out of 61 ground balls at Delaware
  • Captured a season-best 14 face-off wins versus Merrimack and came back the following week to win 11-of-19 at UAlbany
2022:
  • Took the reigns as UMBC’s top face-off specialist
  • Won 150 (of 293) draws, the tenth-most in school history and most since Phil Poe won a school record 229 in 2014
  • Captured the third-most draws in the America East Conference and the 32nd-most in the nation
  • Debuted by winning 13-of-21 and amassing nine ground balls in the opening game triumph over No. 19 Drexel
  • Came up with a season-best 18 (of 24) face-offs at Binghamton on March 26
  • Won 14-of-22 and scored his first collegiate goal in the April 9 win over UAlbany
  • Also scooped up nine ground balls in that game and his season total of 71 was the most since Poe’s 140 in 2014
  • Fared very well in two contests versus a nationally-ranked Vermont unit, winning 22-of-44

2021:

  • Made his debut at Stony Brook on April 24 and attempted one face-off

Background: 

  • In his final season of competition, was part of Saints’ squad which reached MIAA title game
  • Won 23 of 25 face-offs versus four different opponents in 2019 rivalry game versus Archbishop Spalding
  • Matriculated at Boys’ Latin for two years, before transferring closer to home… earned Dean’s List honors at BL and honor roll accolades at St. Mary’s
  • Considered Ivy League schools, but selected UMBC “because of the family-oriented style of its lacrosse team and its grittiness and toughness reminded me of St. Mary’s”…
  • Considering a major in biochemistry and would like to become a surgeon
  • Has five older and one younger sibling
  • Enjoys golf and the music of Kenny Chesney
