Accolades: (2012/2013) Earned a spot on the America East Conference Winter/Spring Honor Roll

 

2013: Saw action in four contests, registered one shot and one ground ball.

 

 2012: Competed in all 13 games and started three… Ran primarily on UMBC’s second midfield unit… UMBC was 4-1 when he hit the scoring column… Produced his lone multiple-point game with a goal and an assist in 11-7 victory at Rutgers on Feb. 26… His other goal was scored at Vermont in 11-8 triumph on April 7.

 

2011: Took advantage of a mid-season opportunity and scored six goals in UMBC’s final seven games of the season… Inserted on the attack in the second half vs. Stony Brook on April 1 and scored a pair of goals vs. the Seawolves… Earned a starting role in the next three games and opened that set with another two-goal effort vs. Towson on April 8… Scored both goals in the second half to give UMBC a pair of two-goal leads vs. the Tigers… Added a goal apiece in both games at Hartford on April 30 and May 4.

 
 
 

Background: Majoring in business technology administration... A 2010 USILA High School All-American from the southern Maryland region… A First Team All-Southern Maryland All-County honoree in 2009 and 2010… Led the Hurricanes to a county and SMAC title in 2008… Scored five goals and added an assist in the title game… A Maryland AP scholar… Lists favorite professional team as the NFL’s Washington Redskins… Son of Suzanne and William Johnston… Born March 3, 1992.
