Biography

Accolades: (2017) Tabbed to America East Winter/Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll (2016) Named to America East Conference Winter-Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll (2014) Earned a place on America East Conference Winter-Spring Honor Roll. 

 

2017: Competed in a career-high seven contests in his final campaign… Saw the majority of his duty on the man-down unit.

 

2016: Did not compete in any spring contests.

 

2015: Competed in three contests for UMBC… Played in the finale at Albany and collected a ground all and caused a turnover. 

 

2014: Suffered a knee injury at the beginning of spring practice… Underwent surgery and did not compete in any contests. 

 

Background: Serves as the liaison for the UMBC/Team IMPACT partnership... A four-year varsity close defensemen for the New Hope-Solesbury Lions… Awarded First Team BAL honors both his sophomore and junior year, and had the most ground balls for a defensemen during those years… Selected to the Intelligencer First Team in 2011 and 2012…Lists favorite movie as Forrest Gump and favorite sports team is the New York Giants… Son of Joann and Pat Dignan.
