Background: One of two natives of Georgia on the squad – the first such men’s lacrosse student-athletes in school history… A Brine All-American in 2012 and 2013… Also earned Georgia HS Association All-State and All-Area honors in 2014… His Lambert squad won the state title in 2012 and runners-up in 2013 and 2014… His Longhorns’ squad defeated ranked programs from Florida and Tennessee during his junior and senior campaigns… Earned four varsity letters in both wrestling and football and was a three-time county champion on the mat… Graduated with honors from Lambert… Considering a major in either finance or engineering… Enjoys dirt-biking and is a fan of the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers… Also plays the ukulele… Has one older sister, Kerby, who turns 21 in March… Son of Jennifer and Michael Wood… Born March 16, 1996.
