  • Earned his undergraduate degree in BTA in the spring of 2020 and is pursuing a graduate certificate program in cybersecurity. 
2022
  • Finished his career with 69 caused turnovers, third on UMBC’s all-time list
  • Started the year as LSDM, then moved to close defense down the stretch
  • Recorded multiple ground ball efforts in nine of 11 games played, including a season-high of five in the win over No. 20 Utah
  • Caused 13 turnovers, including three apiece at UML and in the America East Championship game at Vermont
  • Recorded three assists and finished his career with two goals and five assists
  • Did not commit a single penalty in his final collegiate season

2021: 

  • Moved into fourth place on UMBC’s all-time list with 57 caused turnovers
  • Despite missing three games, led the team for the third consecutive year in caused miscues (14 in 8 games)
  • Got off to a brilliant start, with three caused turnovers in opening two contests versus Mount St. Mary’s and Stony Brook
  • Added a career-best seven ground balls versus the Seawolves on March 6
  • Did not dress due to COVID-19 protocols for the next three games
  • Returned and dished out an assist in UMBC’s 10-8 win over Vermont on April 3
  • Recorded six ground balls and three caused miscues versus UML on April 17
  • Scored a first quarter goal to start a 6-1 run and bring UMBC to within 8-7 of UAlbany in the America East semifinal contest on May 6  

2020: Earned his undergraduate degree in business technology administration… Moved from close defense to LSDM position led the team with 12 caused turnovers through five games… Also averaged 4.0 ground balls per game, second to face-off specialist Alex Poma… Scooped up a career-high six ground balls in the 9-4 victory over Mount St. Mary’s and forced a career-best five Pioneer turnovers the following week in the 13-6 triumph over Sacred Heart… His 43 caused miscues (20 games played, 2.15 per game) is tied for fifth place on UMBC’s all-time list.

2019: Finished the season ranked No. 11 nationally (first in America East) in caused turnovers per game with 2.07 per outing… His 31 caused miscues is the second-most in a single season in school history… Mike Camardo caused 36 in 2011… In his first two games as a Retriever, amassed 10 ground balls and 7 caused turnovers at Navy and Richmond… Scored his first career goal in Game No. 3 versus Mount St. Mary’s… Opened league play by causing 4 turnovers and scooping up 5 ground balls versus Vermont… Produced a pair of 5-ground ball outings versus Binghamton and at Hartford… In the America East semis at No. 1 Stony Brook, corralled career-high 6 ground balls and caused 4 Seawolf miscues.

2018: Did see any game action in his first year in the black-and-gold.

Collegiate: Started all 16 games as a freshman at UMass Lowell in 2017… Finished third on the team with 15 caused turnovers and added 16 ground balls… Posted his first collegiate point, an assist versus UMass on March 15. 

Background: Three-year starter at DeMatha Catholic High School … All-WCAC and Team MVP as a senior … broke the program record for most ground balls in a single season (131) as a senior, which led the WCAC … lead the team in groundballs and caused turnovers (senior year) … named Defensive MVP, All WCAC and Freestate Top 44 as a junior … invited to the Top Star All Star Game and Lehigh Showcase All Star Game during his junior campaign … tabbed MVP on his junior varsity squad freshman year … competed in the Top 205 All Star Game as a freshman.
