2022-23 (FRESHMEN): Made 27 appearances and earned a start (at Loyola (Md.) in his initial season in Baltimore...Averaged 10.5 minutes per game at the point guard spot...Scored a season-high 11 points versus Coppin State as he swished 3-of-5 3-point field goals and went 2-for-3 from the foul line...Handed out a season-best five assists in back-to-back games against Morgan State and Loyola (Md.)...Also opened the season with four helpers versus Tulane and Penn State York...Played a season-high 26 minutes in the start at Loyola (Md.) and came up with six points, five assists and three rebounds.

BACKGROUND: Comes to UMBC from Williamston High School in Michigan...as a senior he was named AP Division 2 Player of the Year and Lansing State Journal Player of the Year while being named to the Detroit News Dream Team, All-Conference, All-Area, and All-State First Teams. helped Williamston win a state championship in 2022...he is a two-time Lansing State Journal Player of the Year...had a 27-point, six rebound performance in the state title game against Grand Rapids Catholic Central, capping off an undefeated season...the son of Marcia and Ted Docks...has two siblings, Chris Harrison Docks and Hudson Docks...brother Chris and father Ted played Division I basketball...Lists his favorite pro team as the Miami Heat and his favorite musical artist is Drake.
