Accolades: (2012-13): Named the squad’s Unsung Hero after his freshman campaign. (2013-14) A co-captain of the squad. 

2013-14:  Started for the first time in his career and scored a career-best 12 points at Arizona State... Demolished that with a 32-point effort in the OT win over Eastern... Also added a career-best 11 rebounds, posting his first double-double... Scored 12 of UMBC’s 13 overtime points... The 30-point effort was UMBC’s first since Chris De La Rosa scored 31 at Binghamton on Jan. 12, 2011...Tied a school record (five others, including Chase Plummer, 2-4-12) by attempting 18 free throws in the game (made 12)... Led the team in scoring for the third time in five games with 18 points vs. Loyola...  Smashed career-best and contributed six assists (no turnovers) at Duquense on Dec. 4...  Hit at least one 3-point field goal in six consecutive games. before missing his lone attempt at GW... Snapped a streak of six games in single figures with a 14-point effort versus Maine on Jan. 11.  

2012-13: Debuted by playing 17 minutes and garnered four rebounds at Penn on Nov. 9... Tied for team rebounding honors with eight vs. Eastern and added 10 points in the Nov. 12 game- both marks were season bests... Earned his first collegiate start at Norfolk State on Dec. 9... Buried his first career trey vs. Coppin State on Dec. 12... Started at Mount St. Mary’s on Dec. 29 and scored 7 points in 25 minutes... Played season-high 28 minutes at Binghamton on Jan. 30... Averaged 4.6 ppg and 4.6 rpg in 22.6 minutes per game over his last five regular season games… Played 52 minutes in two America East Tournament contests and corralled a tied for team rebounding honors with seven in the quarterfinals vs. Hartford… Competed in all 30 games.

Background: A three-time Philadelphia All Inter-Athletic Conference honoree… Earned First Team honors in his junior and senior seasons and was a Second Team representative as a sophomore when the undefeated Blue Devils won the league title… Led the team in scoring the last three seasons, including a career-best 15.0 ppg in 2011-12… Surpassed the 1.000-point mark early in the campaign and finished with nearly 1,400 points… Also corralled a career-best nine rebounds per outing in his final prep campaign… Scored 22 points, all after halftime, Selected to play in the Philadelphia All-Star Labor Classic… Averaged 13.5 ppg and 8.2 rpg in his junior campaign… Also lettered in track & field, placing second in the triple jump in state-wide competition in the spring of 2010… An honor-roll student in all three years at Chestnut Hill… Enjoys drawing and the music of Drake... Is the third-oldest of five siblings… Son of Narissia Williams and Ryan Garner… Born Nov. 4, 1992.
