Biography


2023-24: 
  • Named the Northeast-10 Rookie of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Rookie Team.
  • Played and started in 28 of the 29 total games on the season, missing just one game due to injury.
  • Led the Chargers on the year with an average of 17.0 points per game while also leading the team with 80 assists and 38 steals.
  • Closed out the year shooting 12.5 percent (180-424) including finishing second on the team with 46 three pointers.
  • Also second on the team from the free throw line where he finished 70-of-91 (76.9 percent).
  • Opened up his collegiate career with a 35-point performance against Post (Nov. 11) when he shot 14-of-21 from the field and was 5-of-5 at the free throw line.
  • Also added four steals in that game while his 14 made field goals was a career-high.
  • Closed out the season scoring in double figures in 21 games, including the final 12 games of the year.
  • Among his 21 double figure performances where 10 with 20+ in the scoring column and three reaching 30+.
  • Set a career-high with 36 points on the road at Saint Rose (Feb. 24), shooting 12-of-24 from the field and going 9-of-10 at the free throw line.
  • Pulled down at least one rebound in all but one game on the season, setting a personal best with nine on the road against Dominican (Nov. 26) finishing just shy of a double double.
  • Finished six games with 5+ assists, setting a career-high with seven in a conference road game at Pace (Jan. 24).
  • Set his career-high in steals in his first rivalry game against crosstown rival Southern Connecticut State (Jan. 10), adding those five steals to 20 points and six assists.
  • Earned Academic Honors (Fall 2023) and Academic Distinction (Spring 2024) accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll and named to the New Haven Dean’s List following the spring semester.

  • Is majoring in Geography and Environmental Studies.

  • Played four years of varsity basketball for the Goldbacks of Newburgh Free Academy where he also played football.
  • Finished his high school career with 986 points and helped lead the team to a pair of Section 9 Championships.
  • Helped lead Newburgh Free Academy to two consecutive Section 9 championships. 
  • Was named All-State twice and is a three-time Player of the Year.
  • In the 2022 Section Championship game, he scored 39 points against Middletown.
  • His favorite food is boneless chicken.
