Biography
2022-23 (UMBC): The only Retriever to start all 32 contests...Finished second on the squad in scoring at 10.5 points per game...Enjoyed career-high's in minutes (29.2 per game), field goal made (113), points (338), 3-point field goals (47), made free throws (65), assists (86), and steals (25)...Was named the America East Player of the Week for 12/5 after averaging 20.5 points, 4.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds in wins versus Coppin State and Lehigh...Poured in a season-best 24 points against Coppin State after hitting 7-of-13 field goals, including 5-of-7 treys...Also hit four 3's against Lehigh, at Bryant and Hartford...Dished a career-best eight assists against Coppin State...Converted a career-best seven free throws versus William & Mary...Also had 21 points versus UAlbany.
2021-22 (UMBC): Played in all 32 games for the Retrievers, making 16 starts…averaged 23.4 minutes per game, 6.4 points per game, 3.1 rebounds per game while shooting 41.1 percent from the floor and 38.1 percent from three…tied his career-high of 20 points on March 1 against Binghamton, going 8-14 from the floor and 4-8 from three. also logged a career-high 36 minutes in the contest…was 6-for-10 from the floor and 4-of-6 from deep (16 points) in the previous contest versus Maine…had five double-digit scoring performances during the year, four of which came in America East play…grabbed a career-best ten caroms in the victory versus Penn State-York following a nine-rebound effort in the season-opener at UMass…came up with three steals in the victory against Columbia, also a career-high.
2020-21 (UMBC): Appeared in 14 games during his first season as a Retriever after transferring from American…averaged 4.1 ppg. and 2.1 rpg. in 14.6 mpg…Shot 31.6 percent from the floor and 31.7 percent from three…had a stretch of at least two rebounds from December 28 to February 2 including four straight three rebound games…had two double digit scoring performances with 10 points against NJIT on February 2 and 12 points against Hartford on January 16.
2019-20 (AMERICAN):Â Started first 22 games of season before missing the last month of season due to injury... Came out firing against Loyola (1/22), scoring 10 first-half points in victory... 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting against Army (1/8)... Season-best performance against Stony Brook (12/21), scoring 17 points on 4-of-6 shooting from three-point range and 6-of-8 from the field... Grabbed a career-high nine rebounds to lead AU in a win vs. Howard (11/26)... Scored 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting in a win at GW (11/12) ... Scored 17 points, had three rebounds and three assists in the season opener at Siena (11/5)

2018-19 (AMERICAN): Patriot League All-Rookie Team… three-time Patriot League Rookie of the Week (2/4, 2/11 and 3/4) … appeared in all 30 games and started in three during his Freshman year… dropped a season-high 20 points in a home win against Army (2/9) … averaged 16.4 minutes per game (sixth on the team)… third on the team in 3-pointers made with 27… shot 36.5 percent from three-point range… Had 13 points off the bench in a key role at Loyola Maryland (1/30) … stared his first collegiate game at home against Holy Cross and scored 17 points … contributed with 19 points in a road win vs. Holy Cross (3/2) shooting 5-6 from three.

High School: Played at Jenison for David Kool … during his career, Boonyasith scored 1,563 points and pulled down 338 rebounds … Boonysaith scored 30 or more points 12 times, with a career-best performance of 40 points as a junior against Muskegon Mona Shores on Feb. 7, 2017 … During his senior season, he scored a season-best 32 points on three occasions and connected on 10 or more field goals nine times. On Feb. 6, 2018 — against Wayland Union — Boonyasith eclipsed a 42-year-old record set by Dave VanSurksum in 1976 and became Jenison''s all-time leading scorer … a high percentage shooter from all parts of the floor, Boonysaith shot 86 percent from the free throw line and made more than 150 3-pointers.
