Accolades: (2014-15) Named Mahamoud Jabbi One-Bid Wonders Walk-On of the Year.


2016-17: Got the start in the season opener and netted four treys (12 pts.) vs. Hood... Started on Senior Night vs. Stony Brook, but suffered ruptured Achilles’ tendon and played less than one minute… Underwent successful surgery for tendon repair… The walk-on played in 70 career games and buried 40-of-101 treys (39.6 percent).   


2015-16: Saw his first action of the season late in the contest versus Loyola on Nov. 18… Broke UMBC’s 0/24 drought from 3-point range vs. Colgate; started second half and scored 9 points on Nov. 24… Played season-high 25 minutes at Bowling Green and eclipsed 100-point plateau with 9-point (3/7, 3pt. FG) effort… Hit 3-of-4 treys (9 pts.) and added 3 assists (0 turnovers) in 16 minutes at Hartford (Feb.17)…Converted a tidy 46.2 percent (12-of-26) from long distance during the campaign…  Played in 23 games, matching the total of his sophomore season.  

 

2014-15: Hit a trey at Iowa, in his only attempt, on Dec. 6... Came off the bench in second half and buried back-to-back treys to spark UMBC versus Lehigh... Posted career bests in points (6) and treys (2) at the time... Played 21 minutes vs. NJIT and corralled three caroms... Scored his first points in 10 AE appearances with four versus Vermont on Jan. 17... Earned his first career start vs. Binghamton on Jan. 28 and smashed his career highs in points (17), field goals made, treys and rebounds (5 apiece) and minutes played (40)... Matched some of those gaudy numbers at Binghamton in the regular season finale, hitting 5-of-8 from long distance in a 17-point effort... Posted three assists (career best) in 27 minutes of action... Played 397 minutes in 2014-15, after seeing action in only 38 minutes in all of the 2013-14 campaign.    

 

2013-14: Saw two minutes of action in the team’s season opener at Arizona State...Played five minutes vs. Eastern... Attempted first career shot and garnered first carom at Coppin State on Dec. 11...  Recorded a steal in four minutes played at Vermont on Feb. 15... Played seven mintues at Stony Brook on Feb. 19… Scored his first field goal as a Retriever, a trey, in season-high eight minutes of work in America East quarterfinal contest at Albany… Added season-best two assists.   


Background: Majored in financial economics... A Catonsville native who walked onto the basketball program… Named to 2012-13 All-MIAA squad… Poured in 30 points vs. Pallotti and 22 vs. Calvert Hall in his senior campaign for the Greyhounds… Selected as MVP of Gilman’s Bristow Tournament… Competed for two MIAA titles on the hardwood, winning one in 2012 and falling in his senior campaign… Also lettered in soccer, football and baseball during his tenures at Gilman and Cardinal Gibbons… Transferred to Gilman after Gibbons closed in 2010… A place kicker in football and was ranked No. 2 in the state in 2009… Influenced to attend UMBC because of proximity to home and several of his family members attending the university and achieving academic and professional success… Has two older brothers, Michael and Nick, and two younger siblings, Zach and Sam… Lists favorite book as The Great Gatsby… Son of Suzie and Michael Grace.
