2019: Made just two appearances for the Retrievers out of the bullpen in his first season in Baltimore… Threw 1.0 innings with two strikeouts, giving up one hit and two earned runs… Made his first appearance against Coppin State on March 27, throwing one inning with two strikeouts. 

Background: Transferred from Walters State Community College where he helped the team reach the Division 1 JUCO World Series in 2018, finishing in second place… Earned All-Region and All-Conference honors in high school.

Personal: Son of Jay and Kristy Shepard… Has three siblings, John-Austin, Jacob and Caroline… His sister Caroline swam in college and his older brother played college baseball and one year of professional ball… Plans on majoring in financial economics with a career ambition working in sales… Favorite pro team is the Washington Nationals and favorite musical artist is Juicy J.
