Biography

2011: Matched his career-high with 11 appearances for the Retrievers... Also set a career-best giving up only 23 hits... Did not yield a run in six of his 11 appearances... Set a season-high of two strikeouts in three games.

 

2010: Made 10 relief appearances, racking up 11.2 innings pitched… Pitched scoreless innings in three out of his last four appearances of the season, including a two-strikeout inning against Maine on May 21.

 

2009: Appeared in 11 games… Pitched the final two innings of a combined shutout against NJIT on March 19… Earned a save in his first appearance, striking out a season-high four in four innings of work against Yale on March 8… Earned a save against Georgetown on April 21, getting the final two outs.

 

Background: Played for Dickinson High School in Wilmington, Del…. Garnered DIAA First Team All-State honors in 2008 and Second Team in 2007… Earned DIAA First Team All-Flight B Honors in 2008 and 2007… Recipient of 2008 Coaches Appreciation Award… Earned Dickinson High School Top Performer Award in 2008… Son of Al and Carol Miller… Has one brother, Matt… Born Nov. 16, 1989… Majoring in financial economics in hopes to become a financial planner.
