2015: Redshirt season

2014: Made ten starts for the Retrievers as a sophomore, also appearing once out of the bullpen… Worked to a 2-7 record with a 6.44 earned-run-average (ERA)… Tossed 7.1 innings of shutout ball against UNC Greensboro on March 8 at the Chanticleer Classic in Myrtle Beach, S.C. to earn his first win of the season… Struck out five, allowing just five hits and no walks during the outing… Was no-decisioned on March 16 against Albany at Alumni Field despite pitching 5.1 innings and surrendering just two unearned runs… Twirled 7.0 effective innings against the Great Danes in New York on April 12 to receive his second victory of the campaign… Yielded just two runs, one earned, on seven hits in the effort… Pitched his first complete game, a nine-inning effort, against America East rival UMass Lowell on April 26 at Alumni Field… Worked 8.0 innings against league foe Stony Brook at home on May 9… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

2013: Made 11 starts, going 2-7 with a 6.20 ERA during his freshman year for UMBC… Earned his first career win by tossing six innings of one-run ball at UMES on Apr. 3… Struck out a career-high five batters in the win… Threw a career-high seven scoreless innings to defeat Coppin State on May 9 at Joe Cannon Stadium.

Background: Named Second Team All-County as a designated hitter his junior season... Also selected First Team All-County as a pitcher during his senior campaign.
