Background: Prior to coming to UMBC, played at Towson and CCBC Catonsville... Named the 2011 CCBC Catonsville Scholar Athlete... Hit .378 with 18 doubles, seven homeruns and 47 RBI's last year for the Cardinals... During his freshman season at Towson, he hit .298 with a .913 fielding percentage... Led CCBC to the Maryland JUCO Conference title... A three-sport athlete at North County, he swam and played football, in addition to baseball... During his senior year he led North County to the county championship game and a national ranking... As a senior he was named to the Anne Arundel County First Team after hitting .425 with eight doubles, two homeruns and 27 RBI's... Listed on the Honor Roll all four years at North County.
