2021: Played in 16 games behind the plate for the Retrievers in 2021… Had five hits with six runs scored, one double and seven RBI… Made his Retriever debut in the season opener with a pinch hit at bat on March 6… Had his first hit of the season just a few weeks later against UMass Lowell where he scored and drove in a run.

Background: Heads to UMBC by way of Shenendehowa High School and Herkimer Community College… Hit .411 with four home runs, 36 RBI, 12 doubles and 32 runs scored at Herkimer… Went 3-4 from the plate with two home runs and eight RBI in the 2019 sub-regional tournament to help Herkimer advance to the regional tournament… Son of Trisha and John Novenche… Has two siblings, John and Michael… His father and brother John were both Division I baseball players… Favorite pro team is the Philadelphia Eagles and favorite movie is Avengers: End Game… Likes to fish when not playing baseball.
