2021: Made just four appearances in 2021, all out of the bullpen… Threw 5.1 innings striking out five… Had a strikeout in every appearance, making his season debut against Binghamton on April 24… Had a pair of strikeouts against Stony Brook in the home finale on May 15.

2020: Made four appearances out of the bullpen in the 2020 season… Went 6.1 innings with two saves and a 2.84 ERA… Struck out two batters, giving up just two earned runs and six hits… Picked up his first career save in a 9-8 win against Stetson on February 28… Didn’t give up a run in his last two appearances that included a save in the season finale against Coppin State on March 10.

2019: Made 13 appearances with eight starts for the Retrievers during his rookie season… Threw 48.0 innings with 21 strikeouts to just 18 walks… Gave up 62 hits and 35 earned runs for a 6.56 ERA… Made his collegiate debut against UNC Asheville on February 23 going two innings with three strikeouts… Had his longest outing of the year against Maine on April 6 going 6.1 innings with three strikeouts, giving up just one earned run in a loss.

Background: Named Second Team All-WCAC as a senior, as well as being named Cy Young Award winner… Threw a no-hitter against Bishop O’Connell.

Personal: Son of Ralph and Jeanne Adams… Has one sibling, Quinton… Chose UMBC over Delaware, VCU, Rider and Towson… Plans on majoring in economics… Favorite pro team is the Chicago Cubs and favorite book is the Harry Potter series.
