Biography

2017: Appeared in 45 games, making 43 starts for the Retrievers in 2017... Hit .318, going 48 for 151 with five doubles and a triple on the year... Scored 25 times and drove in 21 runners... Drew 15 walks with a .373 on-base percentage... Was 6 for 8 stealing bases with a .965 fielding percentage and one outfield assist... Began the season by getting a hit in 10 of the first 11 games... Had four hitting streaks of four games or more throughout the season... Went 4-5 with a RBI and three runs scored in a 10-1 win over Navy in May... Hit a walk off double in the bottom of the tenth against Stony Brook on the last day of the regular season to clinch the No. 2 seed in the America East Tournament... Had his best outing in a 19-7 win against The Mount in April... In the game, he went 3-5 with two doubles, a run scored, and an UMBC Division I record eight RBI.

Background: Finished his high school career with a .575 average, earning Fifth Team All-State honors… Played at Monroe Community College where he finished 17th in batting average in the nation, earning him First Team All-Conference honors last year… Helped his team reach the NJCAA Division 2 World Series a year ago.
