Biography

BACKGROUND: Comes to UMBC from Cleveland State...helped the Vikings to back-to-back regular season titles and an NCAA appearance while graduating cum laude from Cleveland State.

2022-23 (UMBC): Started all 31 contests that he appeared in and averaged a team-high 30.4 minutes per game...Registered career-high's in made field goals (90), 3-point field goals (28), rebounds (78), assists (120), and blocks (12)...Tied for third in the America East in assists per game (3.9) and was second in assist/turnover ratio (2.8)...Also ranked eighth in steals per game (1.2)...Handed out six or more assists on eight different occasions...Grabbed a career-high seven rebounds at NJIT...Swished a career-best four treys versus Coppin State...Tied his career-high with ten made free throws  (10-for-10) at UAlbany...Hit the game-tying trey that forced overtime in the crucial win at Binghamton...Recorded a season-high four steals vs. Coppin State and UMass Lowell.

2021-22 (CLEVELAND STATE): Played in just two games averaging 4.5 ppg. and earned a medical redshirt.

2020-21 (CLEVELAND STATE): Appeared and started in 27 games for the Vikings during the 2020-21 campaign, tallying 9.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 31.0 minutes of play...Had 12 games of scoring 10-or-more points...Beaudion’s 3.3 assists per game led the Vikings...Recorded at least one assist in all but one game (26), including a season-high six dimes on three separate occasions (all wins)...Poured in a season-high 25 points on a career-high tying 8-10 (.800) shooting from the floor, including a career-high 4-5 (.800) clip from three-point territory, in addition to a career-high tying six rebounds, four assists and a game-high tying two steals in 33 minutes of play in a win over Milwaukee on Jan. 22...Strung together five straight games of pouring in 10-plus (Jan. 22-Feb. 5), with the Vikes going 4-1 over those five games...Scored in double figures in each game of the Horizon League Tournament, averaging 12.7 points per game, in addition to 4.7 assists...Ranked 1st on the team in steals per game and 17th in the Horizon League...Had 17 contests of one or more theft...Swiped a career-high five steals in a win over Northern Kentucky on Jan. 9, in addition to 14 points on a 9-10 (.900) mark from the free throw line, three rebounds and six assists in 43 minutes...Named to the Cleveland State Dean’s List during the fall and spring semester.

2019-20 (CLEVELAND STATE): Averaged 10.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.8 steals in 31.3 minutes per game ...Appeared in 24 games, including 14 starts, before being sidelined the rest of the season with a knee injury...One of only three Vikings to average 10-or-more points in 2019-20...ranked 23rd in the Horizon League in points per game...Tallied 14 games of scoring 10-plus points...Poured in a career-high 26 points against Green Bay on Jan. 23, shooting 7-12 (.583) from the field, including a 2-4 (.500) clup from three-point territory, and a 10-11 (.909) mark from the charity stripe...Beaudion's 3.5 assists led the Vikings and ranked seventh-best in the Horizon League...he dished out five or more assists on six occasions, including a career-high nine dimes on Dec. 28 at UIC...Shot .763 (71-93) from the charity stripe...Swiped 1.8 steals per game, which was good for third-most in the Horizon League.

PRE-CLEVELAND STATE: Spent two seasons at Colby Community College...Earned First Team All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference honors in 2018-19...Averaged 14.4 points per game and 3.9 assists per contest...Ranked fifth in the conference with 122 assists...Was an Honorable Mention All-Kansas Jayhawk CC Conference selection as a freshman...Averaged 10.4 points and 2.8 assists per game...Shot 52.8 percent from the floor and 42.5 percent from the three-point line as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL: Starred at Whitney Young High School in Chicago...Helped lead the Dolphins to the 4A state championship in 2016-17.

PERSONAL: Born Aug. 25, 1998...The son of Tameka Keith and Craig Beaudion...His cousin Damaria Franklin played basketball at UIC...Lists favorite pro team as the Los Angeles Lakers and his favorite musical artist as NBA Youngboy.
