Biography

2021: Played in 38 games in the infield for the Retrievers… Had 26 hits with three doubles, one triple and two home runs… Batted .252 with 21 RBI and 19 runs scored… Opened the season going 2-2 against Delaware State… Had his best performance of the season against UMass Lowell on March 20 going 3-5 with a double and two RBI… That sparked three straight multi-hit games… Had a home run and three RBI against Binghamton on April 24.

2020: Played in six games during his first season with the Retrievers… Had four hits in 16 at-bats for a .250 batting average… Had two doubles and three RBI with five runs scored… Made his Retriever debut against Stetson on February 29 and had a three-game hit streak to end the year, driving in two runs in an 8-6 loss to Navy on March 8.

Background: Was First Team All-Area at shortstop in his senior year of high school... Played two seasons at Harford Community College... Had 26 stolen bases last season... Batted .328 in his sophomore season at HCC.

Personal: Son of Michele and Ed Charlton... Has an older brother, Ed who played two seasons in the Cincinnati Reds organization after his four seasons at NJIT... Favorite pro team are the Philadelphia Phillies and favorite musical artist is Roddy Ricch… When he is not playing baseball, he likes to sit on the beach.
