2018: Named to America East All-Academic Team...Appeared in 26 matches and 106 sets…. Recorded 339 kills and 297 digs… Had 42 blocks assisted… Set a career-high 20 kills on .243 hitting on September 8th against Loyola (Md.). Set a career high 20 digs on September 14th against Ball St. Went on a hot streak in a span of 12 games, where she recorded 9 double-doubles, averaging 13.8 kills and 12.1 digs. Recorded a career-high four aces on September 25th against Coppin State. Finished with 17 double-doubles on the season.
2017: In her rookie statement, she made a mark on the program by earning America East Co-Rookie of the Year, named All-Rookie Team, and named America East Rookie of the Week four times... Recorded a team-best 225 kills at 3.00 kills per set, and added 41 total blocks... She notched a season-best 15 kills twice , against Temple and Binghamton... Had the second highest dig total on the team with 193 on the year...Recorded six double-doubles throughout the season, including three consecutive against Delaware, Holy Cross, and George Washington.... She appeared in 23 matches and 75 sets
Background: Received Howard County All-County Honorable mention in 2013… First Team All-County in 2014… Delta Area First Team All-Region and Best Preps Player of the Year Finalist in both 2015 and 2016… Helped lead St. Mary’s to the Tennessee State Tournament in 2015 for the first time in school history… Also lettered in Track and Field.
Personal: Daughter of Bowyer and Terri Freeman… Has two siblings, Corryn and Camille… Her father played football at the University of Dayton, and sister Camille played volleyball at FAMU… Plans to major in Political Science and pursue a career in Public Office.
