Background: Earned first team all-conference, all-area and all-district honors as a junior and a senior…led Parkland to three straight district championships…also was a four-year varsity starter in field hockey, earning all-state honorable mention as a senior…born May 28, 1987…daughter of Mark and Karen Benedict…is the middle of five children…has two older sisters, Megan and Courtney, and two younger sisters, Kellie and Brooke…an elementary education major who hopes to be a pre-school teacher.
