Biography

On Perkinson: Is in great physical shape…expected to start at the outside midfield position…has the ability to get forward and score goals…loves to be involved in the play.

2004: Saw action in 16 games for the Retrievers and started two…scored her first collegiate goal in UMBC’s 5-0 win over Delaware State.

2003: Played in 14 games and established herself as a starter by the end of the season.

Background: Was Laurel Leader’s Athlete of the Year in 1999 and 2002…was the Montgomery Journal’s Player of the Year in 2002...a Journal All-County selection throughout her four years at Laurel High School...also a Maryland National Guard Scholar Athlete during her junior year...scored the winning goal for her Bethesda Sting club team that won the State Cup in 2000... played club soccer with current Retrievers Aryn Epstein, Mary Hearin and Christie Sikorski…daughter of Patrica Perkinson...has an older sister, Micki…born on Jan. 14, 1985...majoring in sociology with a minor in psychology.
