Biography

2005: Played in all 18 games for the Retrievers, starting eight…ranked second on the team with 10 goals, 20 points and 43 shots…earned America East All-Conference Honorable Mention…ranked third in the league with 0.56 goals per game, tied for fifth with 1.11 points per game and ranked 10th with 2.39 shots per game…scored game-winners in UMBC’s 1-0 victories over George Washington and Hartford…goal against Hartford came off corner kick with less than four minutes remaining in regulation…tallied twice in the Retrievers’ 5-1 win over Howard and in the 4-0 victory over Albany…scored the game-tying goal against Binghamton, a game that would end in a 1-1 draw…also tallied the Retrievers’ first goal of the season in a 3-2 loss to Liberty…scored seven goals in a five-game span from Sept. 30 to Oct. 13 that saw the Retrievers go 4-0-1…is just three goals and 12 points away from joining UMBC’s all-time top 10 lists.

2004: Played 16 games for the Retrievers and started 11…ranked third on the team in shots (16).

2003: Saw action in all 16 games for the Retrievers, starting six…led the team in both goals (5) and points (10) as a freshman…scored two goals in each of UMBC’s wins over Albany and Old Dominion…was the only Retriever to find the back of the net in UMBC’s America East Tournament first-round loss to Maine…was named to the America East All-Rookie Team.

Background: Was her school’s 2003 Athlete of the Year...voted her team’s MVP in 2000 and 2003...led her league in scoring in 1999 and 2001…also lettered in hockey, where she was 2001 MVP...scored two goals in the Canadian National Championship in 2002, leading her team to victory…St. Paul’s was the national runner-up in 2000…daughter of Sam and Mary DiCarlo...has three older sisters, Dina, Lora and Tanin…born on Feb. 13, 1984...a biology major.
