Biography

AS A FRESHMAN (2008-09): Saw action in 27 games and made four starts, including three in a row from Jan. 17-24… Led the Retrievers with 24 blocks, the third-most ever by a Retriever freshman… Ranked sixth in the America East with 0.9 blocks per game… Sank her only field goal attempt for two points and added two rebounds and two assists in 13 minutes in her collegiate debut at George Washington (Nov. 15)… Posted the first two blocks of her career against George Mason (Nov. 19)… Scored five points and grabbed nine rebounds against Northern Illinois (Nov. 21)… Blocked two shots and grabbed six rebounds against Navy (Dec. 3)… Blocked a career-best three shots against Towson (Dec. 6)… Posted her first career double-double with career highs of 15 points and 11 rebounds to go along with three blocks in a career-high 27 minutes against New Hampshire (Jan. 10)… Named America East Player of the Game against the Wildcats… Made her first career start against Maine (Jan. 17) and posted a career-high four steals… Matched her career high with three blocks against Albany (Jan. 21)… Averaged 8.6 points and 5.8 rebounds and shot 44.1 percent (15-for-34) during the first five games of America East Conference action (Jan. 7-21)… Posted 10 blocks in six games from Jan. 10-28… Led the Retrievers in rebounding four times.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year starter and two-time WCAC All-Conference Honorable Mention at Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, D.C.… Averaged a double-double as a senior with 13 points and 11 rebounds per game… Led the league with 1.6 blocked shots per game in 2008… Nominated for the regional McDonald’s Senior All-Star Game… Posted a triple-double in a game during her senior season with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 12 blocks… Also played for the nationally ranked Fairfax Stars… A four-year Honor Roll student.
