Biography

AS A FRESHMAN (2005-06): Played in each of the first six games of the season and 14 on the year…came in off the bench in each one…played in six conference games including the last two…played two minutes against Albany, grabbing a rebound...came off the bench at Binghamton to hit a basket for two points...increased her role at Hartford and Vermont, averaging 10 minutes per game in the two games...scored four points on 2-for-4 shooting against Hartford...recorded a strong showing off the bench against Vermont...entered the game in the first half and played down the stretch...scored her first points with a trey and than knocked down a jumper…hit both free throws as well for seven points, a season-high...averaged 2.2 points per game (ppg) and shot 62.5 percent (5-for-8) in league play…tallied 0.9 ppg on the season, shooting 41.7 percent from the field.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered at Walker Valley High School on the varsity women’s basketball team all four years, including leading her team deep into the state tournament to finish third in the state her senior year…scored a career single-game high of 34 points against McMinn Central HS...became a highly decorated athlete, earning all-state her junior and senior years, all-region as a freshman and senior, all-area best-of-preps as a junior and senior...earned all-district honors all four years…also earned all-district tournament honors her freshman, junior and senior years and all-region tournament honors as a senior en route to the state tournament…an honor roll student, as well.

PERSONAL: The youngest of two children to Jim and Sue Morris…older sister’s name is Sara…born Jan. 21, 1987.
