Biography
AS A SOPHOMORE (2003-04): Moved into the point guard spot by the middle of the season and finished the year as one of two players to start in all 28 games…set a new career-high of 19 points on two occasions, dropping 19 against Binghamton at home on 2-25-04 and on the road at Northeastern (1-17-04)…had a remarkable game against New Hampshire (2-19-04), rallying the Retrievers and scoring the final five points of the game for UMBC, including a clutch trey, to lead UMBC to a one-point victory, 48-47, over the Wildcats…netted seven consecutive treys that included going 4-of-4 from three-point range against UNH and 1-of-1 against Boston (2-11-04)…had a five-game double-digit scoring streak going towards the end of the season, averaging 15.2 ppg over that span…was spectacular in Retriever wins, averaging 14.0 ppg and shooting 69.2 percent from the field…finished the year leading the team in scoring in conference play at 11.7 ppg and was second on the team during the regular season averaging 9.5 ppg…played 40 minutes in seven games on the year...her 11.7 ppg in conference games ranked 11th in the AE charts...also ranked eighth in assists with 3.00 per game and in overall games was 10th in assists at 2.75.
AS A FRESHMAN (2002-03): Played in 17 contests and made two starts in her first season in a Retrievers’ uniform...averaged 6.9 minutes per game...shot 40 percent (6-for-15) from three-point territory...played a season-high 27 minutes and put on a great shooting display in the victory against Morgan State (11/26), connecting on three of her four three-point field goal attempts and finished with a season-high 11 points...grabbed a season-high four rebounds and added six points (2-for-4 from three-point range) against Canisius (11/30)...made her first career starts against Navy (12/4) and Loyola (12/10)...Scored seven points and converted three of her six field goal attempts at Maryland (12/21).
HIGH SCHOOL: Helped lead Frederick to three-straight conference championships as the Cadets made a state semifinal appearance her sophomore season...earned numerous honors as a senior after averaging 12.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game...was a first team pick by the Frederick Post, The Gazette and Hagerstown Herald...was also first team all-conference pick and was named to the all-conference academic team.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Warren Brown and Tae Levine...born on August 18, 1984...is undecided about a future major...is a fan of the musical artist Nas and basketball superstar Michael Jordan...lists her favorite TV show as Friends.
