Prior to UMBC: Competed in baseball at Bethune-Cookman in the MEAC… Worked primarily as a reliever in 2013 with the Wildcats, appearing in 20 games with three starts… Also played outfield during his rookie campaign, batting .375 with one RBI and two runs scored… In 2014, he made 23 appearances on the hill, posting a 3.03 ERA… Struck out 19 batters in 32.2 innings of work… Pitched three innings against Miami (Fla.) in the NCAA Regionals… Earned MEAC All-Academic Honors.
