2016: Appeared in 36 games for the Retrievers, making 27 starts in 2016… Hit .243 going 27 for 111 hitting seven doubles, a triple, and a home run… Scored 12 times, knocking in 19 runs… Drew two walks with an on base percentage of .259… went 3 for 5 on stealing bases with a fielding percentage of .982… Drove in two runs in a 13-4 victory over Hartford in May… During the game he went 3-5 with a double and scored a run… He had his best game against VMI in February… During the game he went 2-3 hitting a homerun and driving in two runs while scoring a run himself.

Background: Transferred to UMBC after attending Virginia Tech and Florence Darlington Tech… Named to the Virginia All-State First Team while helping to lead York High School to the Semi-Finals of the state tournament in 2011… An All-Region selection in 2011 and 2012… Named to the All-District Team each of his four years with the Falcons… Also competed in track and field placing in the top ten for the 55m dash at the 2012 indoor state track championships.
